The season is under way with some familiar faces and new. The first fixture was completed at Merriott on Monday 12th May against Ilminster with the points split 4 to 6 in Ilminsters favour. Well done to the new team managers Christine & Will for organising. It was pleasing to hear that there were sufficient bowlers to host a practice rink. Hopefully the weather will remain kind to us, in the past we have had some very cold May evening encounters. We can now add the second fixtures result between Crewkerne & Ilminster. It was encouraging to see on each teams scorecard a large number of bowlers representing their club.
